Who is responsible?

The website is published by Mickael Lokhate, the controller for the processing described here in relation to website management and email requests. Contact him at contact@mickaellokhate.fr.

Visiting the website and hosting

Vercel hosts the website. Technical data may be processed to deliver pages, route requests and protect the service against abuse: IP address, requested URL, request date and time, browser information and diagnostic data. For processing under the publisher’s responsibility, the legal basis is the legitimate interest in providing an accessible and secure website. Vercel also processes some technical data for its own operational and security purposes under its privacy notice.

Search, cookies and analytics

The website does not integrate Vercel Web Analytics, Speed Insights, advertising tools or another audience analytics service. Its code does not set cookies or use browser local storage. Blog search and the calculator operate in your browser: search terms and entered values are not stored by the website or sent to a server. Download clicks are not transmitted to an analytics service. This does not exclude the technical processing needed for hosting described above.

When you send an email

Your email address, the name you use, message content and any attachments are processed to answer you and follow up on your request. Providing them is voluntary; without a way to reply, a request may not be handled. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in responding to requests and providing assistance. Do not send passwords or unnecessary personal information.

Recipients and transfers

Messages are intended for the publisher and pass through the email providers involved in the exchange. Technical hosting data is processed by Vercel and its providers. The publisher does not sell it or use it for targeted advertising. Vercel operates international infrastructure: processing may occur outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Its privacy notice explains the mechanisms applicable to its transfers. Contact us for more information about providers involved in your request.

Retention

Correspondence is retained while your request is being handled and for the follow-up needed to resolve it. Additional retention may be necessary to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, limited to the relevant information and time required for that purpose. Technical data retention depends on its operational, diagnostic and security purpose, along with Vercel’s settings and retention rules. The website does not maintain a separate copy of browsing logs in an application database.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you can request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and exercise data portability where its conditions apply. Send your request to contact@mickaellokhate.fr, identifying the data or correspondence concerned. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, CNIL.

External links and the iOS app

Following an App Store or other external link takes you to a third party whose own privacy rules apply. The Read Today app is a separate service: it uses, among other tools, TelemetryDeck for telemetry and Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting. These tools are not loaded on this website. Contact us with questions about app data; the App Store listing also contains the app’s privacy disclosures.

Policy changes

This page will be updated if the website or its providers change, including before introducing a new analytics service. The date below indicates when this text was last updated.
